Letitia James Housing Another Felon Relative — an OnlyFans Model — at Virginia Property

New York Attorney General Letitia James is housing a second felon relative at one of her Virginia homes — both properties now tied to ongoing federal investigations into alleged mortgage fraud, as reported by The New York Post.

According to court documents obtained by The New York Post, James’ 21-year-old grand-niece, Cayla Thompson-Hairston, who operates an adult OnlyFans account, was charged in April 2024 for attempting to purchase a firearm illegally in Suffolk, Virginia.

Authorities said Thompson-Hairston falsely stated on federal paperwork that she had no prior felony convictions.

Virginia law disqualifies her from firearm ownership because of a 2020 felony charge of malicious wounding, defined by the state as intentionally inflicting bodily harm with the intent to maim, disfigure, disable, or kill. That earlier case remains sealed because she was a juvenile at the time.

In 2019, at age 15, Thompson-Hairston was also involved in a theft scheme alongside her sister, 36-year-old Nikia Thompson, who remains a wanted fugitive in North Carolina. Records show the two were arrested for stealing from Macy’s and Dillard’s.

Nikia was later convicted of petit and grand larceny, sentenced to two years’ probation, and fined $2,020.

Both women now reside in Norfolk at homes owned by James, who is under indictment for bank fraud and making false statements to a financial institution.

Federal prosecutors allege James lied on mortgage documents to secure better loan terms, claiming she would use the homes as “second residences” rather than rental properties.

Court filings show that when James purchased one Norfolk home in 2020 for $137,000, she signed a “second home rider” stating she would not lease it.

Prosecutors allege she immediately moved her sister into the property and collected rent, an arrangement that violated the loan terms and allegedly netted her an estimated $19,000 in benefits.

A second property, co-signed in 2023 for $219,780, was listed as her “principal residence,” despite James’ full-time position in New York, 350 miles away. That property also housed family members, including her niece, Shamice Thompson-Hiarson, and her daughters, Cayla and Courtney.

Neighbors told The Post they have never seen James at either location. “That’s Letitia James,” one resident, Jesse Middlebrook, said when shown a photo. “I’ve never seen her here.”

James’ attorney, Abbe Lowell — who also represents Hunter Biden — has denied wrongdoing, calling the investigation politically motivated. Lowell said the mortgage language discrepancy was a “clerical error.”

James was indicted last week by a Virginia federal grand jury and faces up to 60 years in prison if convicted on both counts. She has maintained her innocence, vowing to “fight” the charges. Her office did not comment on the federal case or her relatives’ living arrangements.

  1. Leticia housing and harboring another fugitive isn’t hard to believe.
The fact she has a relative attractive enough to make money on OF? That’s hard to believe.
