Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has defended Elon Musk, who the far-Left progressives like New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) ad countless others falsely accused of making a Nazi salute.
Musk made the gesture inside Capital One Arena. He intended to mimic throwing his heart to the crowd, which he thanked for saving civilization by electing Trump.
“My heart goes out to you,” Musk said.
“It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured. We’re going to have safe cities, secure borders, sensible spending, basic stuff, and we’re going to take DOGE to Mars.”
However, the Left faulted the DOGE chief for making the non-Nazi salute, with left-wing legacy media outlets like CNN sensationalizing the incident.
While the DOGE head had no shortage of defenders, he fired the first salvo by pointing out the obvious hypocrisy. “The radical leftists are really upset that they had to take time out of their busy day praising Hamas to call me a Nazi,” Musk said.
AOC, a far-Left Squad member and one of Musk’s most prominent critics after the incident, was among the opponents of the 2021 $1 billion additional funding for Israel’s Iron Dome system. The system was critical in defending Israel when Iran launched a barrage of missile and drone attacks.
Her Squad colleagues Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush have also accused Israel of committing “genocide” on Palestinians, and yet she has never corrected them.
“It’s no coincidence that immediately after our government sent the Israeli apartheid regime over $14 billion … Netanyahu began a ground invasion of Rafah to continue the genocide of Palestinians—with ammunition and bombs paid for by our tax dollars,” Tlaib said.
Nonetheless, the irony was not lost on Israel’s Prime Minister, who rushed to defend Musk.
“@elonmusk Musk is being falsely smeared,” Netanyahu posted.
“Elon is a great friend of Israel. He visited Israel after the October 7 massacre in which Hamas terrorists committed the worst atrocity against the Jewish people since the Holocaust,” Netanyahu said.
“He has since repeatedly and forcefully supported Israel’s right to defend itself against genocidal terrorists and regimes who seek to annihilate the one and only Jewish state.”
Netanyahu is hardly the first Jew to defend Musk against the not Nazi salute. The progressive Jewish organization the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) said everyone was on edge and defended Musk for making an awkward gesture, which it asserted was “not a Nazi salute.” The antisemitism watchdog also requested everyone to calm down.
This is extremely rare for the ADL, which seems to be able to find antisemitism both where it exists – and where it doesn’t.
“It seems that @elonmusk made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute, but again, we appreciate that people are on edge.”
“In this moment, all sides should give one another a bit of grace, perhaps even the benefit of the doubt, and take a breath. This is a new beginning. Let’s hope for healing and work toward unity in the months and years ahead.”
However, AOC would have none of that and went on a Jewsplaining spree. As a non-Jew, it is ironic that she can lecture them about what should offend them while belonging to a group that calls Israel an apartheid state.
“Just to be clear, you are defending a Heil Hitler salute that was performed and repeated for emphasis and clarity,” she said. “People can officially stop listening to you as any sort of reputable source of information now. You work for them. Thank you for making that crystal clear to all.”
Popular podcaster Joe Rogan also defended Musk saying the Left was playing bulsh-t games.
“This is the Donald Trump excuse: You’d do anything you can to stop Hitler,” Rogan said.
“This is why they want to conflate and they always want to pretend that everyone’s Hitler. The problem with that, after a while, it’s crying wolf, and people are like, ‘Oh, this is a bulls-t game you’re playing and you’re just using it as an excuse.’”
