Below the Belt: Crockett Fires Vicious Personal Attacks on Fetterman for Supporting Trump’s Spending Resolution

Radical-left House Democrats went on a rampage after their Senate counterparts supported Trump’s stopgap spending continuing resolution (CR) to avoid a government shutdown that would affect millions of federal workers. Ironically, the same Democrats have been fighting the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) for firing thousands of federal employees. Yet they wanted Senate Democrats to oppose the spending resolution and send millions of federal employees home without pay.

Seemingly, they only support federal employees’ welfare when it helps them gain political mileage but are willing to use them as disposable pawns to frustrate the Trump administration. Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) was among the liberals who supported Trump’s spending resolution to avoid a government shutdown. He criticized Democrats’ “undignified antics and a sad calvalcade of self-owns” like the “Choose your Fighter” videos.

During CNN’s “State of the Union” show, Jake Tapper asked Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX-30) about Sen. Fetterman’s remarks — to which the unhinged race-baiter resorted to nasty ad hominem attacks.

“He’s not the one to talk about anything,” Crockett replied. “I mean this is a guy who seemingly doesn’t want to own a suit, doesn’t own a suit. I’m not really sure. But I don’t show up in hoodies when I’m going on the floor.

“Just know, we were not on the House floor jumping around at all, whereas Senator Fetterman is consistently walking around the Senate chamber, and he is walking around in such a way that they literally had to change the rules in the Senate so that he could walk around that way. So I just don’t think he’s necessarily the one to have an opinion on this.”

Fetterman and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer had a logical explanation for their support of Trump’s spending resolution. Schumer said shutting down the government was essentially handing Trump a gift on a silver platter. Similarly, Fetterman said since Trump and Musk want to shut down the federal government, keeping it running would effectively strip them of their power.

Responding to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), who claimed she felt a “deep sense of outrage and betrayal” after Senate Democrats refused to shut down the government, Fetterman said he does not care about her opinion.

“I hope you can relay how little I care about her views on this,” he said.

“I’m going to stand on what I happen to believe is the right thing to do but ask her, ‘What’s the exit plan once we shut the government down?’ What about all the millions of Americans who are going to have their lives damaged?” he asked.

He also pointed out the hypocrisy of the far-left Squad member who, despite fighting Trump’s firing of thousands of federal employees, wanted to send millions home without pay.

“What about the ones that won’t have any paycheck? She’ll have her paycheck, though,” he said.

“If we’re worried about Musk going to shut down the government or damage the government, we have the power to do the one thing that [President] Trump and [Elon] Musk can’t do, shut it down,” he asserted.

While their ideology sometimes clashes with common sense, at least they have solid principles, unlike Crockett and AOC, who oppose Trump firing federal employees one moment and then advocate sending all workers home without pay the next.

  1. Is she among the banshees who mocked the members of Trump’s admin that criticized Zelensky for not wearing a suit?

Suits, federal employees; they’re all just pretend abstracts for dems.
