Biden Hosts Emotional White House Farewell Party as VP Kamala Harris Brazenly Skips the Event

Over the weekend, outgoing President Joe Biden held an “emotional” farewell dinner at the White House. However, the defeated Democratic flagbearer and Vice President Kamala Harris was nowhere to be seen.

Nonetheless, Kamala’s conspicuous absence was not surprising for most Americans, given the amount of disparaging remarks the two were reported to have made about each other behind closed doors prior to the election.

Reports say Harris was holed up in Hawaii on a weeklong trip with her husband, Doug Emhoff. She was reportedly recovering from the shortest presidential campaign in history, or more importantly, reeling from defeat and hiding from embarrassment.

Harris’ VP pick Tim Walz, and his wife, were present.

Harris will likely maintain a low profile until the dust settles and Democratic voters forget how they were taken for a ride.

Despite Harris’s absence sticking out like a sore thumb, Biden’s farewell party proceeded as planned, with Mrs. Jill Biden heaping a ton of praises on her “hero” husband while wiping tears from his eyes.

“What I’ve watched you do for more than 40 years is extraordinary… Joe what you’ve done the last four years is breathtaking,” Mrs. Biden said.

“My husband and hero, Joe Biden,” she toasted as Biden reached for his tissue from his pocket.

Biden started his speech by welcoming guests while jokingly dissuading attendees from jumping into the pool. Trump’s landslide victory has caused emotional meltdowns within the Democratic circles, with some, like Harris’s stepdaughter, openly acknowledging the issue.

“If you have a seat, please take it. Don’t jump in the pool!” the outgoing president jokingly said.

Biden said the event was to thank Democratic insiders for their role in his presidency. Perhaps taking a cue from Harris’s absence, President Biden also avoided talking about the just concluded election. Instead, he focused on tearing Trump’s first term and praising his own four years in the White House.

“We began this journey to redeem the soul of the nation and define the light in the darkness. And I never could have gotten to where the White House has become without you and we never could have gotten as much done as we did without you.”

Despite the migrant crisis that he exacerbated, with arrivals quadrupling during his tenure and the skyrocketing inflation, Biden claimed he left the country in better shape than he found it. He also avoided attributing any of his “successes” to his absent Vice President.

“One thing I’ve always believed about public service and especially the presidency, is the importance of asking ourselves, have we left the country in better shape than we found it? I can say with all my heart, the answer to that question is a resounding yes because of you,” he said as the crowd cheered.

Biden also returned the favor by praising Jill as “the rock of our family” and “one of the finest first ladies in history,” perhaps if that history only includes Michelle Obama.

Shortly after Biden’s White House farewell party, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre defended Harris’ absence, saying, “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that” and that “she deserves some time to be with her family and to have some downtime.”

Nonetheless, Harris is expected to return to Washington, D.C., just in time for the Senate confirmation of Trump’s nominees.

  1. Its completely off the chart incomprehensible that these people can be so STUPID. Biden thinks he left the country better than he found it? Huh? Jill biden one of the finest ladies? Huh? Jill thinks her husband did an “extraordinary” and “breathtaking” job? Huh? Are you brainless Jill? And the audience clapping to this garbage? They’re even stupider than these brainless idiots. A third grader would know these people are embarrassing clowns. I just can’t seem to wrap my head around this nonsense. And yes Joe, YOU STOLE the 2020 election, the biggest fraud and corrupted election in history. So you were just a loser FAKE president anyway.

  2. She was busy “turning the page” and “staying in the fight”, unencumbered by a record of complete failure and lack of rational support.
