Former Biden White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s seemingly desperate attempt to revive her career by ditching the Democratic Party and writing yet another “tell-all” book about Biden’s “broken” presidency has come under sharp criticism.
Early in June, a former White House official announced that KJP had switched her party allegiance from Democratic to Independent. She had also announced a book titled “Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines.”
However, her political realignment was the subject of a White House press briefing when one of the reporters brought the issue to the attention of other oblivious correspondents. Despite being new information, many dismissed it as yet another non-issue with no weight on the current country’s political landscape.
“Did she find the manuscript somewhere in that fat binder she toted around? If I were a historian writing about the Biden White House, I wouldn’t ignore what Karine has to say, but it’s not an account in which much weight will be invested — just like her briefings,” one reporter told Fox News Digital.
“She left the Democratic Party? I honestly didn’t see that story and probably wouldn’t have even noticed. I turned off my KJP Google Alert on Inauguration Day,” another retorted, “Has anyone circled back with Jen Psaki?”
“I have to pick my jaw up from the floor. It is unbelievable that she, of all people, would choose this path,” yet another reporter said.
“Just take a look at her entire career and identity,” they added. “You can’t change who you are just because you check a different box on a registration form. It’s also disappointing to see that she would turn her back on her party just because it’s hit a really rough patch… it speaks to character.”
KJP is a flashing neon sign of the radical left, having presented herself as a “Black, gay, immigrant woman” — a perfect DEI hire. Ditching the Democratic Party would be inconsequential unless she was willing to denounce her entire identity and admit that it was all a facade. That in itself would diminish her credibility and paint her as a political grifter.
Besides the Fox News Digital roast, other media houses have weighed in on KJP’s options, and it turns out she did not have many of those. Liberal media outlet Politico reported that KJP was expecting to join the show “The View.”
“According to two of the former officials, Jean-Pierre had been hoping for a post-White House job as a co-host on the show, following the template of her predecessor, Jen Psaki, who departed the post after just more than a year for an anchor position at MSNBC,” Politico reported.
According to Jesse Watters, the DEI queen had expressed her interest in joining the show, but was duly snubbed.
Unsurprisingly, one of the Fox News Digital correspondents felt that KJP was underperforming. Her predecessor, Jen Psaki, of whom many were less critical, is hemorrhaging viewers on the already struggling network. According to Fox News, Psaki has already shed roughly 50% of the show’s audience.
“I didn’t really know what she was going to do because she did such a bad job as press secretary and that’s both in front of the cameras and behind the scenes,” the reporter stated. “Many reporters felt like KJP didn’t meet the mark.”
Subsequently, KJP’s apparent political grift will leave many unimpressed, but like a true leftist, that does not prevent her from trying.
