Drunk Chicago Democrat Samantha Steele Taunts Police Officer, Threatens She’s an “Elected Official”
An embarrassing police bodycam footage has surfaced online, capturing the moment a drunk Chicago Democratic official threatened a police officer, saying she was an “elected official.”
Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Samantha Steele, who allegedly had crashed her car into multiple vehicles in Uptown, Cook County, also berated the law enforcement officer for his alleged “small p*nis.”
“Is your p*nis that small?” She taunted the officer while arresting her.
According to an official report, an officer who responded to the scene observed that Steele had bloodshot and glassy eyes and detected the smell of liquor on her breath.
When the officer asked Steele how much she had taken, Steele refused to answer and asked for her lawyer. “I want my lawyer, and I’m not talking to you.”
The Chicago Democrat also refused to exit the vehicle, seemingly in total defiance of lawful orders.
“Ma’am, if you don’t exit the vehicle, I’m going to help you to exit, and you don’t want that,” the officer stated.
“You don’t want that. I’m an elected official,” Steele responded.
“Elected official of what?” the officer asked.
“Cook County,” Steele answered.
Steele only exited the vehicle after her lawyer, whom she was likely talking to on the phone, instructed her to obey the officer’s orders.
Police officers at the scene inspected her vehicle and found an opened bottle of red wine on the passenger side of the car.
However, she refused to take a breathalyzer test and was sent to a hospital for further analysis, where she complained of pain and was discharged.
She was subsequently arrested and charged with DUI and misdemeanor. Steele was processed in the Chicago Police Department’s 20th District and released with a citation and a court appearance date. However, it remains unclear why the officers did not press additional charges.
Meanwhile, Cook County Commissioner Sean Morrison has called for her resignation, which is unlikely to happen. Steele will likely find a way to turn the incident into a social justice and fight against racism and sexism campaign.
Nonetheless, Steele’s behavior is not surprising for a Democrat in one of the most violent cities in America, that also proposed defunding the police.
The city also voted to remove police officers from mental health crisis response in total disregard of whether the implicated individual was armed and dangerous. However, the state and the city have “Red Flag” laws, allowing officers to remove firearms from licensed, law-abiding citizens on flimsy accusations without proper due process in total violation of their Second Amendment rights.

This “Do you know who I am?” stuff is tiring and only attracts more police scrutiny.
Shut up. And call the city attorney in the morning. If you are worthy of a break, the CA or the judge will arrange it.
