Elon Musk Almost Singlehandedly Blocks Bogus, Bloated Spending Bill

1

X has truly become a powerful tool for government accountability.

With another government shutdown looming, the House this week proposed a Continuing Resolution to raise the debt ceiling and fund the government.

In true government fashion, the bill was stacked with excess spending, including 40% raises for Congress and millions more for Ukraine.

After a joint statement from Trump and Vance denouncing the spending bill, Elon Musk took to X with a 12-hour campaign to stop the bill.

His first post was to put Congress on notice that he would work to primary anyone who voted for the bill.

After more than a dozen posts by Musk critical of the bill and those who support it, Fox News announced that the bill was effectively dead, crediting Musk and X for the bills defeat.

After the bill was defeated, many are calling on Rep. Mike Johnson to step down as Speaker of the House for putting such a horrible bill forward.

Speaker Johnson went on Fox and Friends to defend himself and the bill.

  1. Shut the damn government down! It is nothing but a useless Liberal dominated money pump for questionable activities. The Republicans are not much better than the Democrats at accomplishing nothing. There is nothing they are doing that we cannot do without and much that they are doing that we do not need. Cancel all congressional and presidential pay until they actually do some work. They deserve pay reduction not increases. They have done nothing worthwhile for several years under senile Biden and his gay caballeros. Congress and Biden have virtually destroyed the country. I have nothing but abject disgust for the lot of them.
