“Fake” Kamala Harris Postcards Warning of Immigrant Home Takeovers Hit Residents in Massachusetts

Fake Kamala Postcards (Reddit)

Massachusetts residents are receiving fake Kamala Harris postcards informing them that migrant families will be moving in with them for supporting the Democratic presidential candidate.

A Shrewsbury, MA, resident told local news outlet NBC10 Boston she was creeped out after receiving the fake Kamala postcard, moments after erecting a sign in her front yard supporting Kamala and Waltz.

The postcard starts by thanking the resident for supporting the Harris-Walz campaign before informing her that a Nicaraguan immigrant family would be moving into her home.

However, the Harris-Waltz supporter downplayed the message, claiming it was an attempt to upset and “rage bait” her.

“It’s really sad that the country has come to this point where you can’t put a lawn sign out and support a candidate without being harassed with something like this.”

Another Shrewsbury resident received an anonymous postcard informing her that a Guatemalan family of five would be making her home their residence.

The defiant woman said the postcards seemed like an attempt to stop voters from erecting signs supporting their preferred politicians.

“But if the takeaway is ‘Don’t put up a lawn sign in support of a political candidate,’ I feel the exact opposite. Next time there’s an election, I’ll put up three signs in my yard.”

The resident said she notified the Shrewsbury Democratic Town Committee, who advised her to report the incident to law enforcement.

Another Kamala-Waltz supporter received a non-personalized postcard addressed to “Resident” saying a family of four from Belize will move in on November 3, 2024.

“Thank you for supporting Kamala! We are so appreciative of you putting out a yard sign. But now we need your continued help,” reads the postcard.

“They will need food, toiletries, and transportation. Thank you!” the postcard reads.

However, the number of immigrant family members, the country of origin, and the arrival date were left blank and filled in by hand, suggesting the senders had no list of recipients beforehand and the targets were selected opportunistically.

Meanwhile, the group behind the fake Kamala postcard campaign remains unknown, but the Democratic presidential candidate supporters blame Trump and even SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk. However, no evidence suggests that Trump or Musk is involved.

Nonetheless, negative sentiments regarding immigration stoked by illegal border crossings on the US-Mexico border have reached historic proportions during the 2024 elections.

A June 2024 Gallup poll found that 55% of Americans support reduced immigration, the lowest number since 2005. In 2001, 58% of Americans disapproved of immigration into the United States while 65% objected the same in 1995 and 1993.

Immigration also lost favor with moderates, with the number of Americans wishing to increase immigration, reducing by 10% to reach 16% overall, while those wishing to maintain the current rates reduced by 6%, to stand at 25% of all U.S. adults.

“The shifts in attitudes have come after monthly illegal border crossings reached record levels late last year,” wrote Gallup Senior Editor Jeff Jones.

In line with U.S. voters’ sentiments, President Trump has promised to “launch the largest deportation program in American history” on the first day of his second term in office. Kamala supports a more lenient approach to illegal border crossings, with various citizenship pathways for individuals who illegally crossed the border.

  1. Get the FBI on this pronto! Pre-dawn commando raids with tactical gear and submachineguns are indicated. (Someone mobilize CNN.) POSTCARDS SHOULD NEVER BE TOLERATED IN “OUR” DEMOCRACY.

  2. That is EXACTLY what should happen. If you are a registered democrat you should be billed for this. They should be compelled to sponsor families if they support this.

  3. Trolling fills the valuable function of reminding self-important people in positions of political power that they shouldn’t take themselves so seriously.

I love the creatively of this stunt.
