Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele hilariously dismissed claims that suspected MS-13 gangbanger Kilmar Abrego-Garcia was tortured during his detention at CECOT prison.
Abrego-Garcia claimed he was forced stripped, physically abused, including being kicked with boots, hit on the head, struck with batons, and being frog-marched. He also claimed that the alleged physical abuse left him with visible bruises, bumps, and made him lose 31 pounds in two weeks.
“Plaintiff Abrego Garcia was then forced to strip, issued prison clothing, and subjected to physical abuse including being kicked in the legs with boots and struck on his head and arms to make him change clothes faster,” the defendant stated in a court filing. “His head was shaved with a zero razor, and he was frog-marched to cell 15, being struck with wooden batons along the way. By the following day, Plaintiff Abrego Garcia had visible bruises and lumps all over his body.”
However, Bukele shared photo evidence that conflicted with the alleged gang member’s claim, showing him fat and happy, smiling, eating, and playing sports.
“But the man wasn’t tortured, nor did he lose weight. In fact, photos show he gained weight while in detention,” Bukele posted on social media platform X. “There’s plenty of footage from different days, including his meeting with Senator Van Hollen, who himself confirmed the man seemed fine.”
President Bukele also questioned why the suspected MS-13 gang member looked fine in every photo and gained weight with no visible signs of torture.
“If he’d been tortured, sleep-deprived, and starved, why does he look so well in every picture? Why would he gain weight? Why are there no bruises, or even dark circles under his eyes?”
Abrego-Garcia is facing federal charges related to a 2022 traffic stop by the Tennessee Highway Patrol when he was accused of transporting illegal immigrants.
During the stop, the suspected MS-13 gang member was using a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado belonging to a known and convicted human trafficker, Ramon Hernandez Reyes, who later confessed to working with him. Reyes said he paid Abrego-Garcia $350 per head to haul illegal immigrants across the country.
The officers found that Abrego-Garcia had $1,400 in cash, which was likely his payment for transporting undocumented aliens across the country.
Meanwhile, the radical left’s poster child for anti-deportation faces “conspiracy to unlawfully transport illegal aliens for financial gain” and “unlawful transportation of illegal aliens for financial gain” charges. Each conviction carries a maximum sentence of 10 years, no minimum, and with the average sentence being only 15 months.
However, the alleged MS-13 gangbanger faces over 100 counts of alleged transportation of illegal aliens. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison, or his defense team could argue for a shorter sentence through concurrent sentencing.
In comparison, his alleged accomplice, Reyes, was sentenced to 18 months after pleading guilty to transporting illegal immigrants. However, the convicted illegal alien transporter was offered a plea deal in exchange for confessing to the transportation charges, to which Abrego-Garcia has pleaded not guilty, likely under the instruction of the left, which has promised to protect him.
Meanwhile, his defense team has asked the federal judge to keep him behind bars to avoid being deported back to his native country. Ironically, Abrego-Garcia might end up regretting being used by the radical left and challenging his deportation.
Trump’s successes are impressive, encouraging, and remarkable. However, as long as the Liberals are in this country, they are an existential threat to the safety, success, and survivablility of this country. It has been proven time and again that there is no depth to which they will not stoop to turn or steal an election. The fraud they said never happens has been proven to happen. The evidence of the 2020 steal, they so loudly proclaimed did not happen, is being found. A civil war is necessary to remove these people because force is the only way to get rid of them. They will not stop. They can not stop because Conservativism is the antithesis of Liberalism. If we do not utterly defeat them they will hide in the dark like vermin, regroup, and do it all over again.
