Democratic strategist James Carville had another rare moment of clarity when he ripped far-Left Squad member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) over her racist comments blaming White men for most deaths in America.
Carville was responding to a resurfaced Al Jazeera interview in which Rep. Omar said that White men were a bigger security threat than radical Islamists while running for the congressional seat in 2018. Former Al Jazeera reporter Mehdi Hasan had asked her if “Islamophobia” resulted from legitimate fear of terrorism.
“A lot of conservatives, in particular, would say the rise in Islamaphobia is a result not of hate but of fear,” Mehdi said. “A legitimate fear they say of ‘jihadist terrorism,’ whether it’s Fort Hood or San Bernardino, or the recent truck attack in New York. What do you say to them?” he asked.
“I would say that our country should be more fearful of white men across our country because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country,” she said. “And so, if fear was the driving force of policies to keep America safe, Americans safe inside of this country, we should be profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of White men.”
Appearing at the Truth Tellers Summit, Carville said 33% of voters are be white men and pissing them off would not be a smart strategy. “Let’s go out and p*ss off 33% of the people that vote. And that’s a smart strategy?”
However, the lamented that some Democrats, who were more of a liability than an asset to the party, agreed with Rep. Omar. “And there are people that agree with her! There are people that actually agree with her,” he fumed. “And I think it’s — honestly, I think these people are more trouble than they’re worth.”
Later appearing on the Politics War Room podcast posted by Politicon, Carville intensified the offensive by asking the radical leftist Squad member to leave the Democratic Party and start her own movement.
“Ilhan Omar. Lady, why don’t you just get out [of] the Democratic party,” he seethes. “Honestly, start your own movement.”
Carville noted that while he and others (sadly) still shared many values with the radical left Squad member, the party should not be running against White men, any gender, ethnic group, or race.
Breaking down the math, Carville noted that roughly 70% of people voting in the next election will be White, of whom around 48% or more will be male, accounting for 33% of total votes.
“Why don’t you, lady, start your own party, and then when it’s over (if) you want to caucus with the Democrats, fine. We agree with a lot of things that you do, but we don’t believe we ought to be running against white men,” Carville said.
“In fact, we don’t think we ought to be running against any gender, any ethnic group, any race, any religion, or anything else. God d**n, these people are just helpless. They cannot be helped. There’s nothing you can do to help them. They don’t want to be helped, and if they had any guts they’d start their own God d**n political party and get out of ours.”
Sadly, the Democratic Party has been running, not only against White men, but also most Americans by consistently ignoring the will of the majority on various issues such as biological men in women’s sports, the deportation of violent criminals, and chemical and surgical mutilation of minors.
Ironically, Carville appears to toe the line on these issues himself, making his criticism of Rep. Omar a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black
