House Oversight Committee May Subpoena President Biden, Jill Biden, and Hunter Biden to Testify

The House Oversight Committee is grilling top Biden officials over the apparent cover-up of his mental decline, leading to the Watergate-level autopen scandal. Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer (R-KY) promised to start with staffers who worked “behind the scenes” and follow the investigation wherever it leads.

On Thursday, Dr. Kevin O’Connor and four other officials were expected to appear before the committee to spill what they knew about Biden’s obvious decline. Besides Biden’s mental decline, Dr. O’Connor is also suspected of enabling Biden’s prostate cancer cover-up. He also rubberstamped Biden’s fitness.

The four Biden insiders expected to appear before the Oversight Committee include Neera Tanden, the former Domestic Policy Council Chief; Annie Tomasini, the former assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff;  Anthony Bernal, former senior adviser to the former First Lady; and Ashley Williams, former deputy director of Oval Office operations.

The Kentucky Republican promised to kindly request them to voluntarily appear and give their depositions and transcribed statements. Failure to comply would force his Committee to issue subpoenas and have them testify under oath.

“We expect all witnesses to fully comply with the Committee’s investigation. The Committee will issue subpoenas if necessary,” Comer told Fox News host Sean Hannity.

So far, their lawyers have contacted the House Oversight Committee regarding the dates of their depositions, but no concrete date has been set for their appearance.

Meanwhile, Comer promised to leave no stone unturned in exposing what is now becoming one of the most embarrassing scandals in American history.

He promised to follow the trail wherever it leads, and summon anyone with the knowledge or potentially involved in the cover-up, including former First Lady Jill Biden and the disgraced former president’s son, Hunter Biden.

“If the trail leads us to the next step, which many believe would be perhaps Jill Biden and Hunter Biden, then we will go there,” Comer said.

Former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who seemingly did the most of the dirty work to cover Biden’s decline, will also be on the chopping block.

Comer warned that the former president, whose mental decline and subsequent cover-up were the subject of the investigation, was also not off limits.

“We’re going to see who was giving the directive to sign these,” he said. “If everyone says it was Joe Biden, then I’m certainly open to bring him in.”

“Look, I would love to ask Joe Biden a lot of questions, but right now, we’re starting with the staffers who were operating the autopen,” he added.

While rare, it is not uncommon for a former president to be summoned to appear before a House Committee. In 2022, the defunct Democrat-led House Committee investigating the January 6 Capitol protests subpoenaed then-former President Trump, but he refused to appear. In 1983, Gerald Ford became the only former U.S. president to give a sworn statement to a House committee.

Recently, Jake Tapper, the co-author of “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again,” revealed a devious plot by White House aides to run the country if Biden won the election but could not function.
