Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is under fire after calling for violence toward prominent Republicans, including Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
During a livestream event hosted by activist group #TeslaTakedown, which advocates for economic pressure against Tesla, Crockett expressed enthusiasm for the protest campaign.
“I am truly here for very selfish reasons,” Crockett said.
“Starting with March 29, it’s my birthday, and all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down! Yes!”

Her remarks followed further comments during an interview with NBC 5’s Phil Prazan and Gromer Jeffers of the Dallas Morning News.
When asked how Democrats could win statewide races, Crockett said, “I think that you punch; I think you okay with punching,” adding, “You know…I love Colin (Allred), and I think toward the end he started punching a little harder.”
She continued:
“But, like, it’s Ted Cruz! I mean, this dude needs to be knocked over the head, hard! There’s no niceties with him…You go clean off of him!”

Crockett’s comments drew immediate backlash, prompting concerns about her violent rhetoric.
Attorney General of the United States Pam Bondi responded to Crockett’s comments during an appearance on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo.
Bondi warned Crockett that such statements could cross legal and ethical boundaries.
“You have this Congresswoman Crockett who is calling for attacks on Elon Musk on her birthday,” Bondi said.
“‘Let’s take him out on my birthday,’ she says. Yet she turns around and says, ‘Oh, I’m not calling for violence.’”
Bondi added:
“Well, she is an elected public official, and she needs to tread very carefully—because nothing will happen to Elon Musk, and we’re going to fight to protect all of the Tesla owners throughout this country. And it’s just basic safety.”

So far, Crockett has failed to give any clarification or retraction of her remarks.

Crockett illustrates how stupid the entire Left is. She’s going to incite violence one too many times, some blue-haired freak is going to take up her cause, and we are finally going to decide they have gone too far.
