Megyn Kelly Blasts Kamala’s Go To Story: “No One Gives A S**t”
Megyn Kelly took aim at Kamala Harris during her recent show, criticizing Harris for her comments in an interview with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle.
The focus of Kelly’s critique was Harris’ repeated references to her “middle-class” upbringing while discussing her economic plan for the upcoming election.
During the interview with Ruhle, Harris emphasized how her mother “raised” her and her sister in a “middle-class” household.
Kelly expressed frustration with the vice president’s remarks, urging her to stop focusing on her personal family history and address the economic struggles that Americans are currently facing.
“Then she finishes it off with — we didn’t play this — but, ‘I come from the middle-class. My mother raised my sister and me, she worked hard.’ No one gives a shit about your mother, they care about themselves. Stop talking about your mother [and] start talking about the people who are actually suffering,” Kelly said.
Kelly further criticized Harris for failing to provide concrete solutions to pressing economic issues. “So the only thing she said in the whole answer, and this was at the very end, was, ‘So my vision for the economy is let’s deal with some of the everyday challenges that people face and address them with common sense solutions,’” Kelly noted, questioning the substance behind Harris’ remarks.
Harris briefly mentioned affordable housing during the interview, suggesting a $25,000 tax break for first-time home buyers as part of her economic plan.
