Nashville Democrat Mayor Doxxes ICE Agents, Putting Lives at Risk

Nashville’s Democrat mayor has released the names of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, igniting fury from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Sen. Marsha Blackburn.

Mayor Freddie O’Connell’s office released the names of multiple federal law enforcement agents with ICE, drawing backlash from DHS and Sen. Marsha Blackburn, who accuse the mayor of endangering law enforcement officers.

The information—detailing interactions between ICE agents and Nashville emergency service personnel—was disclosed in a data release from O’Connell’s office.

The files reportedly included names of federal law enforcement personnel.

However, O’Connell claimed the release of names was unintentional.

It’s no surprise the Department of Homeland Security isn’t convinced.

“They claimed it was a mistake. There’s zero chance it was a mistake and there will be repercussions,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in response to the incident.

“Our ICE enforcement officers are already facing a 400% increase in assaults against them, and he’s essentially handing over intelligence to these criminal gangs so they can target our ICE enforcement officers. It’s wrong. It’s beneath the city of Nashville.”

“The Nashville Mayor is protecting illegal aliens and gang members over his constituents,” DHS charged.

As reported earlier this week, O’Connell is under federal investigation for allegedly “aiding and abetting” illegal immigration, according to Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles.

The investigation comes amid rising tensions between Nashville’s community leaders and federal immigration authorities.

WKRN reported that Ogles called for an investigation into the mayor’s office after O’Connell criticized a “joint safety operation” conducted by ICE agents and Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers in early May.

The operation resulted in 196 arrests, according to a statement from DHS, which also accused Mayor O’Connell of supporting “pro-illegal policies.”

O’Connell’s criticism emphasized that the Metro Nashville Police Department has “been delivering safety to this community by reducing crime multiple years in a row,” and argued that federal officials have “shown us no proof” that those arrested during the operation were individuals “with criminal histories or criminal intent.”

According to The Gateway Pundit, GOP Congressman Andy Ogles (TN) confirmed the investigation and stated he will formally request all documents related to the incident from the mayor’s office.
