Americans have once again proven Democrats wrong about the ongoing anti-ICE LA riots, which the left continues to blame President Trump. Polling platform Insider Advantage interviewed voters about the ongoing LA riots and President Trump’s deployment of the National Guard, which Democrats have blamed for triggering riots, vandalism, and looting.
It found that 59 percent of the respondents approved of the President’s action, compared to slightly over a third (39%) who opposed the move, while 2 percent were undecided. The move also received the support of more than half (56%) of the Independents and 37 percent of Democrats.
Among Republicans, President Trump’s deployment of the National Guard received overwhelming support, with 89% in agreement.
“Americans want order, deportations, and the rule of law, not chaos, criminality, and assaults against federal law enforcement,” tweeted Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
The poll shows that Americans are increasingly becoming immune to the left’s lies, regardless of how loud and coordinated they are.
On June 7, the president deployed 2,000 National Guard troops, followed by an additional 2,000 and 700 Marines. The hesitation of California Governor Gavin Newsom prompted Trump to federalize and deploy the California National Guard.
“If I didn’t ‘SEND IN THE TROOPS’ to Los Angeles the last three nights, that once beautiful and great City would be burning to the ground right now, much like 25,000 houses burned to the ground in L.A. due to an incompetent Governor and Mayor,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
“Los Angeles was a war zone before Trump called the National Guard and Marines,” one X user described the situation in the Golden State’s largest city.
Meanwhile, Gov. Newsom claimed that California was capable of addressing the social unrest using its law enforcement, despite some police chiefs openly admitting that they were overwhelmed.
“Like many states, California is no stranger to this sort of unrest,” Newsom said during a press conference. “We manage it regularly and with our own law enforcement. … This brazen abuse of power by a sitting president inflamed a combustible situation, putting our people, our officers and even our National Guard at risk.”
He also described President Trump’s deployment of ICE as an assault on Democracy and accused the agents of arresting dishwashers and seamstresses.
“Democracy is under assault right before our eyes—the moment we’ve feared has arrived. Trump is pulling a military dragnet all across Los Angeles. Well beyond his stated intent to go after violent and serious criminals, his agents are arresting dishwashers, gardeners, day laborers and seamstresses.”
“Rioters chant, ‘Show me what democracy looks like! This is what democracy looks like!’ in front of cars they set on fire. No, it really, really is not,” tweeted civil liberties attorney Laura Powell.
Meanwhile, Governor Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass appear to be waking up to the reality. The mayor has announced a localized curfew, while Newsom warned rioters of potential prosecution.
Over 400 people, including 330 illegal immigrants, have been arrested since the curfew took effect for various alleged offenses, including assault and attempted murder of a law enforcement officer. However, Democrats continue to stick to the official narrative that the LA anti-ICE protests are “largely peaceful” and “blame the Orange Man” for deploying the troops.
