No Child Is Born In The Wrong Body: Harry Potter Creator J.K. Rowling Blasts Woke Transgender Activists
J.K. Rowling was responding to a netizen urging her to use her immense influence for the good of society, adding that her supposed “hateful focus on trans kids is hurtful and unnecessary.”
“There are no trans kids. No child is ‘born in the wrong body,’” she X’ed. “There are only adults like you, prepared to sacrifice the health of minors to bolster your belief in an ideology that will end up wreaking more harm than lobotomies and false memory syndrome combined.”
Rowling, 59, has sold over 600 million book copies, primarily focusing on kids’ fantasy stories. However, the Gloucestershire, U.K., native has never shied away from controversy by expressing her truest feelings on gender fluidity.
While the radical left has pushed for her boycott over her commonsense approach to transgender issues, HBO announced it would continue working with her. The network noted that her anti-trans perspective does not affect the “casting or hiring of writers or productions staff.”
Rowling recently echoed the sentiments of a concerned netizen who blamed social media for brainwashing children into accepting the transgender ideology.
She also blasted surgeons for misleading kids that their bodies can be modified at will, like Lego, and schools for affirming children’s transgender identities without consulting parents.
“Kids are watching TikTok videos of surgeons selling the idea that bodies can be modified like Lego. Schools affirm kids’ trans identities behind parents’ backs. A certain kids’ charity in the UK sent out breast binders to pubescent girls without parental consent.”
The United Kingdom’s Department of Health and Social Care indefinitely banned puberty blockers due to their “unacceptable risks.” The Health and Social Care Secretary said caution was needed when addressing issues related to the “vulnerable group of young people.”
Meanwhile, Rowling also warned that many parents struggled to protect their kids from nefarious transgender activists exploiting puberty anxieties to hook children onto lifelong drugs.
“Many parents are struggling to protect kids from a Zeitgeist telling them that anxieties about puberty, sexuality and growing up can be fixed by lifelong reliance on Big Pharma and by doctors who make Frankenstein look ethical,” she said.
She also warned that transgender medical interventions result in infertility and an inability to perform sexually.
“The moment any of those things causes infertility, the loss of the ability to orgasm and a lifetime’s reliance on powerful hormones your body wasn’t designed to cope with they’ll become relevant to the discussion.”
Rowling has also commented on transgender women’s inclusion in girls’ sports, noting that men who identify as women have stolen hundreds of medials from female athletes.
Transgender female athletes have won about 900 medals against biological female athletes, while almost no male transgender athlete has defeated any biological male athletes. The disparity suggests that transgender female athletes have an advantage over their biological counterparts for having been born male.
Charlie Baker, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) President, recently agreed with Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) that female trans athletes have an advantage over their biological female counterparts.
“A transgender woman is a biological male,” Kennedy stated. “And a biological male is always going to have a physical . . . advantage competing in a collegiate sport against a biological female. Isn’t that true?”
