Pure Projection: Maxine Waters Accuses Trump of Inciting Violence, Doubles Down on Violent Rhetoric

Democrat Maxine Waters spouted more violent rhetoric this week during a press conference with Congressional Black Caucus leaders, ironically accusing President Donald Trump of inciting violence. Waters, 86, said Trump is working toward a civil war.

“I believe [Trump] expects violence. I believe he expects confrontation. I believe he’s working toward a civil war!” Rep. Maxine Waters screamed.

Watch:

Waters attacked Elon Musk earlier this month, saying, “Elon Musk’s 13 children sleep good at night. What happens to the other children in America?”

Her remarks came when she rallied outside the Housing and Urban Development headquarters to protest the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) cuts to wasteful federal spending. After attacking Musk, Waters attempted to storm the HUD building before being stopped by security.

Watch:

Waters’ behavior in response to DOGE saving taxpayers’ money by cutting wasteful contracts shows she has much to hide. On Wednesday, Waters called on Democrats to “hit the streets” to “influence the courts” in the party’s fight against Trump.

“We can fight back against Trump and co-president Elon Musk. We can influence the courts,” Waters wrote Wednesday on X.

“How do we do that? We hit the streets and fight back. If we fight, we can win.”

Waters is no stranger to spouting violent threats and has a long history of doing so against Republicans. In 2017, Waters told a crowd that she would “go and take Trump out tonight” and later urged her supporters to confront and harass Trump administration officials.

“If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd,” Waters said during a 2018 rally in Los Angeles.

“You push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Everything Waters accuses Trump of is pure projection.
