Rosie O’Donnell Goes Off the Rails: “Musk Rigged Election for Trump”

Aging comedian Rosie O’Donnell, now a resident of Ireland, resurfaced on Friday with unsubstantiated claims that DOGE leader Elon Musk “stole” the 2024 U.S. presidential election for President Donald Trump. During an appearance on The Late Late Show with Irish host Patrick Kielty, O’Donnell made bizarre claims about the integrity of the 2024 election, accusing Musk of using his platform, X, to influence results in favor of Trump.

“I question why for the first time in American history a president has won every swing state and is also best friends and his largest donor was a man who owns and runs the internet,” O’Donnell said during the interview.

She continued:

“So, I hope that would be investigated. And that we would see whether it was an anomaly or it was something else that happened on election night in America when Kamala Harris was filling up stadiums with people who supported her and Donald Trump was not able to do that.”

O’Donnell added, “So, it’s curious to me and as an American and a believer in democracy, I would hope that we would be able to look at all of the reasons why this happened in our country.”

As we reported earlier this month, O’Donnell announced on her TikTok account that she had fled to Ireland, citing Trump as a factor in her decision.

“I was never someone who thought I would move to another country, that’s what I decided would be the best for myself and my 12-year-old child. And here we are.”

“You know, I’m happy. Clay is happy. I miss my other kids. I miss my friends.”

“It’s been heartbreaking to see what’s happening politically and hard for me personally as well. The personal is political, as we all know,” O’Donnell said in the video.

“I think about everyone every day and the United States of America. And I am hoping that we can turn things around, counting on you, all of you, to do what’s right. And I think deep down inside, we all know what that is,” she added.

O’Donnell’s latest allegations regarding Musk’s involvement drew swift reactions online, primarily because she offered zero evidence to support her claims.

Musk has yet to respond to O’Donnell’s accusations.
