Source: Trump to Fire 15,000 Transgender Troops from the US Military Immediately After Inauguration

A new report says President Donald Trump will fire all transgender soldiers immediately after taking office. It’s estimated that the move would rid the military of at least 15,000 servicemembers.

“They would be medically discharged, which would determine that they were unfit to serve,” The Times reported.

Trump will also remove all transgender individuals from various ranks in the military.  According to Trump’s Secretary of Defense nominee, Pete Hegseth, the Left filled the military ranks with political appointees to effect the Left’s agenda.

Additionally, the blanket ban would bar transgender people from joining the military, affecting various DEI programs that have encouraged non-binary individuals to join the U.S. armed forces on the premise that “diversity is strength.” Some anti-woke campaigners have accused transgender people of joining the military for lifetime care since gender realignment care is very expensive.

“It would also lead to a ban on trans people joining the military and would come at a time when almost all branches of the American armed forces are failing to meet recruitment targets.” 

In 2023, the U.S. military failed to meet its target by 41,000 recruits.

While proponents of gender fluidity in the military warn that banning trans people would further dent recruitment, Hegseth blames the “Woke” culture for reduced enrolment. 

Acknowledging that the military was at an existential moment, Hegseth says the military “committed a Bud Lite” and offended its “core constituency” by actively seeking gender non-conformant recruits.

“There aren’t enough lesbians in San Francisco to man the 82nd Airborne Division,” Hegseth said, sarcastically. 

Mental health problems are disqualifying for anyone that wants to join the military – and suffering from gender dysphoria was considered a mental disorder until 2012, when it ceased to be, purely for politically-motivated reasons. But regardless of how leftist psychologists want to define it, the consequences of such a disorder are massive, and could greatly compromise military preparedness:

41 percent of people who identify as transgender will attempt suicide at some point in their lives, compared to 4.6 percent of the general population. And people who have had transition surgery are 19 times more likely than average to die by suicide.

Across the world, the military is associated with masculinity, bravery, and the “top dog” status. By parading drag queens for the U.S. military, the Left dented the military’s image, making it less attractive to its core demographics. 

“…and in trying to cater to that, they lost the boys in Tennessee and Kentucky and Oklahoma. The traditional dudes who did it because they wanted — they loved their country, or they wanted the adventure, or they wanted to try tough things….”

Explaining the effects of “Wokeism” in the military, Hegseth said its core demographics took a wide berth at the military to avoid the transgender cr*p, resulting in reduced enrolment.

“…if I wanted to do the woke cr*p, I could go to the local community college or local college. I don’t need it here.”

During one of his monologues on Fox News, Hegseth said people were leaving service because of the social justice garbage Obama and Biden have rammed into the military.

Hegseth also noted that open transgenderism in the military brings complications and differences, especially after the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy repeal during the Obama administration. The reversal allowed gay, lesbian, bisexual, and gender non-conformant individuals to openly serve in the military.

Trump and Hegseth intend to reverse the downward spiral by repairing the military’s dented image and attracting back the core demographics.

Hegseth, who abhors “weak” and “effeminate” military, says, “Trump has a chance to reverse that” and “clean the military.”

During his first term in office, Trump banned trans individuals from joining the military but allowed already enrolled individuals to stay. By that time, about 2,200 servicemembers were diagnosed with gender dysphoria. Biden reversed the move immediately after he took office in January 2021, resulting in about 15,000 servicemembers now identifying as transgender.
