Time Magazine Lists Kamala Harris as Finalist for Person of the Year
Time Magazine, struggling to stay relevant, has released it’s short list of finalists for their “prestigious” Person of the Year for 2024.
There is a noted Republican lean to the list, as to be expected with the overwhelming red wave of the 2024 election.
Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Joe Rogan are among the favorites to be named Person of the Year.
One surprising candidate is raising some eyebrows: Kamala Harris.
So what does Time say that Harris actually did to earn this nomination?
In their article, they don’t list anything she actually did (because there isn’t anything).
That’s a lot of words without listing any actual accomplishments.
Some things that should disqualify her for Person of the Year, however, are much easier to list:
- 15 million fewer votes than the last Democrat nominee for President
- Did not flip a single county from red to blue in the ENTIRE UNITED STATES
- Spent $1.5 billion dollars to lose an election by a landslide
- Ended her campaign $20 million in debt despite raising over a billion dollars
Kablahblah is the epitome of failing upward. She barely won her seat in CA, and went on to win (or accomplish) absolutely nothing nationally. Now, hilariously, she thinks she’s the Dem party leader. I’m genuinely curious to see if the D’s will support her, they being more obsessed with skin color than competence.
Time should create an Idiocracy category – she’d be a top contender there.
Well, after all, she is the greatest loser of the year.
So, she and Biden were previously on a Time cover for successfully stealing an election from Trump. Now Time may put her on the cover again for losing an election to Trump? Time is setting the bar pretty low for Democrats to make the cover.
AZguy is correct, and coming from a state that tolerates an inordinate amount of election shenanigans, he should know. Time, if you really want to put Democrats on your cover, you might want to consider asking them to actually do something to earn it. Everybody wins. You stop looking like tools.The Democrats actually do something to earn respect, and the GOP would gain a worthy adversary that they could choose to work with on issues…. Or keep doing what you’re doing, hand out your participation trophies and resign yourself in the Democratic Party to the dust bin of history.
