Trump Announces a Flurry of Appointments

President-elect Donald Trump and his transition team didn’t take the Veteran’s Day weekend off.

Throughout the day Sunday, Trump’s Truth Social account was constantly updating followers on the new names added to the Trump 2.0 Administration.

The first name to drop is sure to anger the Democrat pundits on all of the political talkshows.

Tom Homan, former ICE Director, has been appointed to clean up our nation’s broken immigration system.

Homan has not been subtle about his willingness to deport millions of immigrants who are in the country illegally.

Another high profile appointment came shortly after the Homan announcement.

Stephen Miller, who some call Trump’s right-hand man, has been named Deputy Chief-of-Staff for Policy.

Miller held a similar position in Trump’s first administration, where he was the president’s Senior Advisor for Policy.

The Trump Team also made several other appointment announcements on Veteran’s Day.

NY Congressman Lee Zeldin was announced as Trump’s pick to head the Environmental Protection Agency.

Zeldin has been a strong Trump supporter and a candidate for several high profile positions in the Republican Party recently.

Another member of Congress from the state of New York was announced as a Trump appointee Monday, as well.

Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, currently the third ranking Republican in Congress as the GOP Conference Chair, was selected to be the next Ambassador to the United Nations.

While Trump’s transition team has been busy, the major cabinet positions such as State, Defense, and Homeland Security still remain to be filled.

Also, many of the notable names from the 2024 campaign have yet to settle into their administration positions. Most prominent amongst them are Elon Musk, Robert Kennedy, Jr., and Tulsi Gabbard.
