Trump Enforces “One Flag” Policy Across All U.S Embassies, Bans LGBTQ and BLM Flags

Trump has ordered all American embassies worldwide to enforce a “one flag” policy and pull down LGBTQ+ and Black Lives Matter flags, the Washington Free Beacon reports. The order is part of Trump’s effort to roll back all Biden administration’s woke, progressive, and Leftist policies, including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) gibberish.

“Starting immediately, only the United States of America flag is authorized to be flown or displayed at U.S. facilities, both domestic and abroad, and featured in U.S. government content,” states an order signed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

The Biden administration claimed to believe that the BLM and LGBTQ+ flags symbolized inclusivity, diversity, and racial justice – though like any invading force, the real goal was to show that we’d be conquered ideologically by far-left radicals.

Most disgustingly, the Biden administration flew the pride flag at the Embassy to the Holy See – but of course didn’t any embassies in Muslim countries.

“The flag of the United States of America united all Americans under the universal principles of justice, liberty, and democracy,” Trump said.

“These values, which are the bedrock of our great country, are shared by all American citizens, past and present.”

“The U.S. flag is a powerful symbol of pride and it is fitting and respectful that only the U.S. flag be flown or displayed at U.S. facilities, both domestically and abroad.”

The only flags exempted from the ban are the Prisoner of War/Missing in Action (POW/MIA) and the Wrongful Detainees flag. Congress recognized the POW/MIA flag as a national symbol in 1990, while the Wrongful Detainees flag was adopted in 2023.

According to the order, any government employees who violate those rules will “face disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contract, or reassignment to their home agency.”

In April 2021, former Secretary of State Antony Blinken allowed U.S. embassies to display the LGBTQ+ flag during Pride Month in June and other related events.

In 2023, the Biden administration displayed the rainbow flag at the White House during Pride Month. The U.S. Embassy in Moscow has also raised the LGBTQ+ flag despite Russian President Vladimir Putin banning and designating the movement as extremist.

In May 2021, the Biden administration also allowed U.S. embassies to display the Black Lives Matter flag during events and anniversaries related to the BLM movement and racial justice. In February 2022, the U.S. Embassy in Brazil displayed the BLM flag during Black History Month.

“Today, we raise this flag to reiterate the importance of black lives around the world. The United States is committed to continuing this fight and collaborating with any others who wish to do the same,” said the Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy and Consulates, Douglas Koneff.

Besides the federal ban on LGBTQ and BLM flags on U.S. embassy grounds, some states have also prohibited the display of the rainbow flag in classrooms.

Florida, Texas, Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama, and Oklahoma were among the first states to vote to restrict rainbow flags from classrooms. The City of Huntington Beach, California, also voted to ban non-government flags, including LGBTQ+ and BLM, in government buildings.
