Trump Receives Hero’s Welcome at UFC 309 in NYC
President-elect Donald Trump returned triumphantly to Madison Square Garden, site of his supposed “Nazi Rally” as the lunatics in the mainstream media would have you believe.
Trump was a guest of friend and supporter Dana White at UFC 309 on Saturday evening in the Big Apple, and walked out to thunderous applause.
Trump was flanked by several of his recent high-profile cabinet appointees, including Elon Musk, Robert Kennedy, Jr, Tulsi Gabbard, and Vivek Ramaswamy.
UFC 309 was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the same location where Trump held a campaign rally in October.
Democrats and the media ridiculously tried to compare his rally to a Nazi rally simply because a Nazi rally (which saw more protesters than attendees) was held at MSG 85 years ago. Apparently we were supposed to ignore the thousands of other events held there since.
The first thing Trump did when he got to ringside was to give UFC commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan a big hug.
The Trump/Rogan bromance started when the former president went on Rogan’s podcast in the final weeks of his campaign.
Rogan was publicly hesitant to endorse Trump before the podcast appearance, but gave him a full endorsement after the episode was released.
Throughout the night, many of the UFC fighters paid their respects to Trump, with many waving to the president after their victories.
The headliner of the event was UFC legend Jon “Bones” Jones, one of the most decorated fighters in UFC history.
After his third round knockout of Stipe Miocic, Jones honored the former and future president with his version of the “Trump Dance.”
When asked about the support for Trump from the UFC fighters and the MSG audience, UFC CEO Dana White said that people “relate to Donald Trump” and that “it feels like someone hit the reset button.”
