Unhinged Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett says she will impeach President Donald Trump for the third time once the party regains control of Congress during the 2026 midterms and she is elected a ranking member of the House Oversight Committee. Rep. Crockett was speaking at the WFAA’s “Inside Texas Politics” when she laid out the insidious plan. “Once we get to the majority, which I’m hoping and praying we get to, next cycle, that allows me to start to open up and do the things that would look like an impeachment Now, whether or not we would put it to a vote, you know, he’s been impeached twice, couldn’t get convicted. There’s a lot of things to consider about whether or not to go forward.”
She accused Republicans of persecuting Biden, whose mental acuity is contested even by liberal journalists like Jake Tapper. The Texas Democrat seemingly still believes that Hunter Biden was innocent and was used to hurt the former president. Hunter was found guilty in Biden’s anti-Trump Department of Justice before his president dad issued an autopen pardon after convincing Americans, for months, that he would not interfere in the justice process. “One of the things that we saw that they did very effectively last cycle is that they decided they were going to put Joe Biden into the trial of public opinion,” she continued. “They went after his son Hunter Biden. They were saying because Hunter was having issues Joe must have issues. And so what they were doing is they were tearing down Joe Biden as well as the Democrats same time.”
Rep. Crockett listed various issues justifying Trump’s impeachment, which include the $400 million Qatari jet gift, Trump’s crypto initiatives, and various pardons, which could include those issued to J6 hostages. “So I think that there is something to be said for us digging in when there’s real things to look at such as this $400 million plane from the Qataris and whether or not that’s a violation of the emoluments clause of the Constitution. I think that we need to dig into all this crypto nonsense that he’s got going on. I think we need to dig into the fact that it looks like he’s giving out pardons for play.”
When pressed whether impeaching President Trump was a real possibility once elected the Chair of the House Oversight Committee, Rep. Crockett did not mince her words. “I would absolutely at least do an inquiry. Absolutely.”
President Trump had warned that the Democratic Party was in “real trouble” if Rep. Crockett was one of its leading figures. She likely harbors sour feelings toward the president for demeaning her.
Meanwhile, Rep. Crockett officially launched her House Oversight Committee bid to replace recently deceased Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA), potentially pitting herself against another unhinged Democrat, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. “Our country is in an existential crisis driven by an out-of-control Executive with a flagrant disregard for our Constitution, our way of governance, and our very way of life as citizens of a democratic republic. The Administration has refused to respect congressional authority, abide by lawful judicial orders, or respond to public outrage,” she claimed.
