New “Border Czar” Tom Homan said that he would hit the ground running once President Trump officially took office.
This week, he was on the streets of Chicago with his Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents arresting dangerous illegal immigrants.
Mr. Homan had a famous guest with him, as well. Dr. Phil, the talkshow host, was tagging along to film a documentary.
In the video, Dr. Phil and Homan are seen interviewing a handcuffed suspect.
He says that he is from Thailand and that he has never been deported before.
He then says that he recognizes Dr. Phil from television.
Homan blasts sanctuary cities like Chicago that let illegals arrested for sexual crimes against children back out onto the streets.
Liberals and the mainstream media have criticized Homan and the administration for allegedly sending ICE agents into schools.
In the following clip from the same night, Homan explains to Dr. Phil that that simply isn’t true.
Homan went on to explain that sanctuary city policies are actually to blame for the increased ICE presence.
If local police were empowered to arrest and detain illegals, ICE would simply go to the jails and get them instead of tracking them down on the streets.
