Who Is The President Right Now? Scott Jennings Flips Question on Democrats Over Musk Overshadowing Trump

A Democratic lawmaker’s attack on President Trump by targeting his government spending czar Elon Musk failed spectacularly, resulting in an epic comeback from CNN’s Scott Jennings.

Musk is leading opposition to the pork-filled spending bill that is supposed to prevent a government shutdown, while Trump occasionally surfaces to discuss pertinent issues. This dynamic has led Democrats to brand Musk as “shadow president” and “co-president.” As usual, Democrats took the script and ran with it, not realizing it was about to explode in flames and burn them instead.

Appearing on CNN Live, Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), the Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, even dared to ask whether Trump was still the president, resulting in one of the most important questions Americans have been asking for the past four years.

“I’m shocked by the speed with which Donald Trump has ceded control to Elon Musk… Who’s the president right now? Who’s going to be the president or who’s the president-elect? And who’s going to be the president come the new year?”

Scott Jennings, who has a history of schooling Democrats on such statements, jumped right on the opportunity and flipped the script right back at her; “She let the mask slip right at the end when she said, ‘Who is the president right now…I mean, who is the President-elect?’ She asked the right question first — who is the president right now?”

“I wonder where they’ve been the last four years,” Jennings asked, adding that Biden has been diminished and “AWOL and apparently not able to execute the duties of the office.”

Other netizens added their thoughts on the Democratic lawmaker questioning Trump’s presidency before he even takes office.

“That’s been my question the last 24 hours over this CR debate.  Where the hell has Joe Biden been?  Am I surprised?”

The irony of asking who voted for Musk did not escape netizens, who questioned whether Kamala was voted as the Democratic presidential candidate.

Jayapal had also lamented about Musk, a “billionaire who is not even elected is acting like a shadow president and doing the work that Republicans have to do.”

Most interestingly, Trump has not taken office for anybody, including Musk, to run the government on his behalf. Even better, world leaders already recognize him as the president due to the lack of leadership for the past four years.

Meanwhile, Rep. Jayapal’s accidental revelation coincided with a Wall Street Journal report stating that Biden’s presidency was diminished due to age-related issues, with top staffers and government officials scrambling to fulfill his roles.

“Aides and advisers stepped in to keep President Biden’s agenda on track despite the limitations of the oldest president in U.S. history,” the Journal reported.

During his diminished presidency, his closest aides instructed visitors to keep the meetings short and precise, and he rarely met Democratic members of Congress as the gatekeeping intensified. WSJ sources also disclosed that Biden had the most “hand holding” compared to all other presidents.

  1. Who is President now? Certainly not Biden, except in name only. He has been mentally AWOL for most of his 4 years in office while his merry band of misfits dole out billions of dollars and never look back. The Democrats stole the election then proceeded to rape the country. With crooked Democrat DAs and Judges, there never was a legitimate court case. The MSM made it all look legitimate by lying and obfuscating. I don’t know what statutes were violated, but I hope Trump can put these miscreants in prison. They certainly deserve it. I would not feel bad to see 80 plus year old politicians tossed in jail. They do not deserve to walk.

  2. A leader like DJT appreciates SMART people around him. We should be thankful that he is not the only one who is making decisions or people would blame him for that too. Organizations always have meetings and conferences to get ideas from their peers in business or other activities. Give him a change, we don’t need to jump to conclusions.
