Aggressively Wield Power: Trump to Exile Over 100,000 Deep Staters, Purge Bureaucrats and Political Appointees
President-elect Donald Trump will begin his second term in office by purging the Deep State and returning power to the American people.
Trump will directly fire rogue bureaucrats, transfer over 100,000 jobs out of Washington, and reclassify another 50,000 civil servant positions as political appointees. Reclassifying the positions removes immunity from termination for political reasons, allowing Trump to appoint individuals who align with his Conservative agenda.
Unsurprisingly, government workers have been complicit in pushing the Left’s agenda while disguised as federal employees. Trump’s move to reclassify those positions will create a clear distinction between federal employees and political appointees.
During his first term, Trump moved the Bureau of Land Management to Colorado, transferring up to 300 jobs. The transfer saw over 80% of career bureaucrats working in the Lands Bureau remain in Washington. Biden reversed the move, bringing back the jobs to Washington D.C.
“As many as 100,000 government positions can be moved out — and I mean immediately out — of Washington to places filled with patriots who love America,” Trump said in a resurfaced video.
Besides transferring jobs out of Washington to shed rogue bureaucrats, Trump will reissue the 2020 executive order granting the president authority to remove them.
According to the Independent, the executive order intends to remove “people in the bowels of the federal government” who pursued “their own selfish political agenda.” Trump says he will “wield that power very aggressively” to shake up the bureaucracy.
In addition, the president will expose the rot in the federal government by publishing documents exposing corruption, collusion, censorship, and spying on political opponents. Declassifying the documents will expose faceless bureaucrats who run the government behind the scenes.
Similarly, the president will push Congress to establish an independent auditing system to monitor intelligence agencies to ensure they do not spy on citizens or run disinformation campaigns against the American people. The incoming president will also remove “corrupt actors” in the “national security and intelligence apparatus.”
Trump will also end the “ongoing weaponization of the justice system” which has seen the DOJ used to settle political scores by targeting individuals of differing opinions and religious beliefs.
The President-elect has been the subject of numerous lawsuits by Democratic prosecutors and attorneys general. Trump’s potential AG pick Mike Davis has already warned the New York Attorney General Letitia James over ongoing Trump lawsuits.
The judiciary will be top on Trump’s list after taking office. The President-elect says he will “Totally reform FISA courts which are so corrupt that the judges seemingly do not care when they’re lied to in warrant applications.”
Other actions include banning federal bureaucrats from working with companies they deal with and regulate, which creates an avenue for corruption and backhand deals, and making every Inspector General’s office independent.
Trump’s shake-up will no doubt infuriate bureaucrats and career politicians who drink from the Washington swamp. With the GOP controlling the Senate and inching closer to retaining the House, some of Trump’s actions will likely be challenged in court.
THIS IS WHAT I VOTED FOR!
Cut, slash, Burn. The Federal government is a leviathan that must be restrained.
This may be our only chance of fixing the mess in Washington and if we flub it we lose big time. President Trump has seen the corruption and he wants to repair the damage and help correct the ship of state.
We should eliminate many of the departments such as Education and Energy and remake the Dept of INjustice as well as the FBI. Mayor corruption there. How else do so many of those employees become millionaires?
The most important part of DC that needs changing is congress. The number of old and out of touch members need to be replaced by younger people and there needs to be term limits. Yes I know congress will fight tooth and nail against that but the states can make that happen if properly led.
And stop the elaborate retirement system for Congress.
