A radical leftist Democratic Houston, Texas, official mocked a Christian summer camp decimated by the ongoing floods, which swept away numerous young girls who have as yet to be found. The tragedy resulted from the flooding of the Guadalupe River, which flooded camps, killing over 82 people, and left children and their counselors missing.
“I know I’m probably going to get canceled for this, but Camp Mystic is a white-only girls’ Christian camp,” said Sade Perkins, a Black Houston, Texas, Food Insecurity Board member, in an unhinged TikTok video. “They don’t even have a token Asian. They don’t have a token Black person. It is an all-white, white-only, conservative Christian camp.”
“If you ain’t white, you ain’t right. You ain’t getting in. You ain’t going—period,” she added.
“I think that context needs to be said in this matter. It’s not to say that we don’t want the girls to be found—whatever girls are missing or whatever right now.
“But you best believe, especially in today’s political climate, if this were a group of Hispanic girls—especially with them being in East Texas, where it would most likely be Hispanic—this would not be getting the type of attention that it’s getting. No one would give a f–k.
“And all these white people—the parents of these little girls—would be saying things like, ‘They need to be deported. They shouldn’t have been here in the first place,’ and yada, yada, yada.”
The unhinged, heartless, radical leftist also said the parents’ kids chose to send their children to a “white enclave, exclusionary just for white people” in Eastern Texas.
“With all the Black people in East Texas, with all the Hispanic people in East Texas, somehow, some way, you have carved out an all-white, whites-only enclave in East Texas for your white children.”
She added that “they” want you to go and find “these people” and donate your money to find them, while “they are deporting your family members.” She stated that you should consider that “before you get out there, put on your rain boots, and go find these little girls.”
Democrat Mayor John Whitmire has ordered her removal from the board and banned her from re-appointment. Her term expired in January 2025, but she was likely still serving under consideration for reappointment.
“The comments shared on social media are deeply inappropriate and have no place in a decent society, especially as families grieve the confirmed deaths and the ongoing search for the missing,” the Mayor’s office said in a statement. “Mayor John Whitmire will not reappoint her and is taking immediate steps to remove her permanently from the board.”
Her pastor Husband’s church has also reportedly distanced itself from the distasteful remarks, saying a congregant or church official did not make them.
Meanwhile, the unhinged Democrat is playing victim, adding that White people are not used to being called out on racism.
Perkins also made her TikTok account private and said that the “MAGA Christians” would be thrilled if the victims were LGBTQ. She also cried “sour grapes” after being removed from the board, saying it had not addressed food insecurity.
“Maybe it was gods will to wash them lil cu#t$ away,” she reportedly said.
Why wasn’t this CUNextTuesday railing against the camp before the storm, if it was such an outrage? I guess she needed a flood on her side to suddenly become so brave.
