The presumptive nomination of “Democratic Socialist” New York Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani is causing panic and a potential mass exodus of various groups of people. High-end property buyers are overwhelming phone lines, attempting to exit existing deals and invest elsewhere outside New York City, the New York Post reports.
“My number one job will be moving people from New York to Florida. Again,” Serhant told me. “Based on the results, clients are going to hold off on making any kind of investment in New York City. We are going to take a break from looking until there’s more clarity on the mayoral election,” one client who had made an offer on a Chelsea apartment told their realtor. “People are frightened and over the next three to four months we’re going to see a lot of people consider South Florida again — it’s going to be a COVID level of interest,” a real estate broker stated. “These are people who can afford to move with relative ease.”
Florida is a popular destination for people fleeing liberal hellholes, and one real estate professional confirmed this outlook. “The amount of lifelong New Yorkers texting me [about a move to Florida] is close to shocking,” the real estate broker stated. Jills Zeder Group, this broker’s employer, has sold $1.8 billion in the Sunshine State this year. Seemingly, the best of the best will be moving out of the liberal New York City, as the worst of the worst move in. Some political analysts have predicted European-style no-go zones and an uptick in crime after the Islamist and Communist candidate wins. Other sectors, such as the lucrative New York Stock Exchange, will also likely suffer if Mamdani wins.
Jewish New Yorkers were also advised to leave NYC after the Islamist candidate was predicted to win the Democratic mayoral candidacy.
According to Times of Israel, “Mamdani is a longtime anti-Israel activist who alarmed many Jewish New Yorkers with his rhetoric and policy promises during the caustic campaign for the mayoral primary.”
“Evacuate NYC immediately,” the Republican Jewish Coalition advised Semitic people.
Mamdani has also promised to arrest Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he steps in NYC when he becomes mayor.
“As mayor of New York City, I would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu, this is a city that our values are in line with international law, it’s time that our actions are also,” Mamdani said, despite the United States not being a signatory to the ICC.
Additionally, the country’s foreign affairs policy, including which commitments or initiatives to support, is the sole responsibility of the federal government.
Meanwhile, U.S. Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) has called for the denaturalization of Mamdani for allegedly making material concealment in support of terrorism when making his citizenship application.
“According to public reports, including a June 21, 2025 New York Post article, Mr. Mamdani expressed open solidarity with individuals convicted of terrorism-related offenses prior to becoming a U.S. citizen,” the request stated.
“Specifically, he rapped: ‘Free the Holy Land Five / my guys,’” it added. “The Holy Land Foundation was convicted in 2008 for providing material support to Hamas, a designated foreign terrorist organization.”
Mamdani has proposed various failed Communist solutions, including city-owned groceries, which failed spectacularly in other socialist cities, such as Chicago.
Don’t for get this socialist is also a radical muslim wanting global intifada.
As a Floridian, I hate seeing this. Every wave of New Yorkers coming here increases the traffic, with people who may have never even driven a car before if they came from the city. It also drives up the home prices, which effects us, even those who already have a home. My homes value increased from about 400K in 2020, to about 700K in 2023. That raise’s my insurance, and my property taxes.

OK there needs to be a “loyalty” test before all these New Yorkers turn FL into a Leftist hellhole. You can’t move down here unless you promise to NOT vote for 5 years. That way we can influence them to our side during that time. You can’t move down here at all if you are an acknowledged Leftist donor/ hardcore progressive Dem. Moving here because you will be taxed to death in NYC is NO excuse to ruin brilliantly run Florida.
