The Wisconsin Supreme Court has temporarily suspended Rogue Judge Hannah Dugan, who is accused of shielding an illegal alien from ICE agents. According to a criminal complaint, Judge Dugan allegedly escorted illegal immigrant Eduardo Flores-Ruiz and his attorney through the jury door when ICE, FBI, CBP, and DEA agents showed up at her courtroom to arrest him. Flores-Ruiz had appeared before Judge Dugan, facing three misdemeanor battery charges related to attacks on two individuals.
On April 25, FBI agents arrested the Milwaukee Circuit Court Judge for obstructing justice and harboring an individual, one a misdemeanor and the other a felony charge. If convicted, she faces up to six years in federal prison.
Meanwhile, the Wisconsin Supreme Court issued a two-page order placing Judge Dugan on temporary administrative leave, citing public interest.
“The court has learned that Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah C. Dugan has been charged with two federal criminal offenses, one of which is a felony and one of which is a misdemeanor,” it stated.
“This court is charged in the Wisconsin Constitution with exercising superintending and administrative authority over the courts of this state. In the exercise of that constitutional authority and in order to uphold the public’s confidence …, we conclude … that it is in the public interest that she be temporarily relieved of her official duties.”
“It is ordered … that Milwaukee Circuit Court Judge Hannah C. Dugan is temporarily prohibited from exercising the powers of a circuit court judge in the state of Wisconsin, effective the date of this order and until further order of the court,” the court ruled.
However, Judge Dugan’s legal defense team has criticized the liberal majority Wisconsin Supreme Court for acting in “a unilateral fashion” and asserted her innocence.
“We continue to assert Judge Dugan’s innocence and look forward to her vindication in court,” the defense team stated.
When Judge Dugan was presented in a Milwaukee federal court on Friday, her attorney Craig Mastantuono also criticized her arrest, terming it ill-intentioned.
“Judge Dugan wholeheartedly regrets and protests her arrest. It was not made in the interest of public safety.”
Similarly, liberals continue to show an outpouring of support, claiming her arrest would set a dangerous precedent. Some have compared Dugan’s alleged shielding of the illegal immigrant to that of the Jewish girl Anne Frank, who the Nazis wanted for extermination.
However, Anne’s only crime was existing and not flagrantly and repeatedly violating just laws or harming other individuals.
Others criticized how Judge Dugan was marched off in handcuffs instead of being requested to turn herself in. Ironically, Democrats have usually insisted that nobody is above the law and even demanded that Trump be publicly arrested and photographed for mugshots. They also did not protest when Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence was raided by federal agents.
However, others, such as the leftwing mainstream outlet MSNBC, have taken a more cautious approach, even admitting that “it doesn’t look great for the judge.”
Meanwhile, Border Czar Tom Homan and Attorney General Pam Bondi had repeatedly warned government officials of the potential consequences for obstructing federal agents. However, many have so far evaded those consequences.
“What has happened to our judiciary is beyond me,” Bondi told Fox News. “The [judges] are deranged is all I can think of. I think some of these judges think that they are beyond and above the law. They are not, and we are sending a very strong message today. If you are harboring a fugitive … we will come after you and we will prosecute you. We will find you.”
“When you cross that line to impediment or knowingly harboring, concealing an illegal alien from ICE, you will be prosecuted,” Homan said. “Judge or not.”
In January 2025, acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove also sent out a memo to all Department of Justice staff asking them to cooperate with the federal government in enforcing immigration laws.
However, a group of ten blue-state Attorneys General slammed the memo as a threat to public officials, as many in the liberal circles characterize Judge Dugan’s arrest.
Why not arrest politicians that establish sanctuary cities and States for the same reason?

I really want to see prison time for this scumbag “judge”. Put her in prison and make an example of her. Maybe “judges” like her will begin having second thoughts about taking these cases from the scum on the left and Trump can finally get TdA, MS-13 and the other trash that the South American thugs in there government sent our way.
Dugan isn’t even remotely a neutral umpire. Abandoning her constitutional role and advancing her own agenda made her an enemy combatant and therefore a viable target. Her attorney is playing the ‘privilege’ card whining and complaining about how her arrest was handled. Guys, we left the UK way of upper class privilege nearly 250 years ago. Try her, convict her and sentence her to prison.
