Released Docs: Ex-CIA Boss John Brennan Faces Possible Charges Related to Steele Dossier Linking Trump to Russia

Russia hoaxer and former intelligence chief John Brennan could be liable for perjury related to the Russiagate witchhunt after CIA Director John Ratcliffe released documents related to the 2016 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA). CIA’s Directorate of Analysis (DA) sought to determine whether procedural anomalies had affected the objectivity of the report.

“[President Donald Trump] has trusted me with helping to end weaponization of US intelligence,” Ratcliffe posted on social media platform X. “Today’s report underscores that the 2016 IC Assessment was conducted through an atypical & corrupt process under the politically charged environments of former Dir. Brennan & former FBI Dir. Comey.”

The Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Tulsi Gabbard, has previously stated that the Biden administration weaponized the U.S. intelligence machinery to target Americans.

Meanwhile, the released documents state that the initial assessment, which linked Trump to Russia, was based on the politically motivated Christopher Steele Dossier, which contained over a dozen unverified intelligence reports and suspicious political connections.

For example, the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) settled with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) to terminate an investigation into payments made to Perkins Coie and Fusion GPS to allegedly manufacture the Steele Dossier. Former British spy and Russia expert Steele authored the dossier that linked Trump to Russia. He was contracted by Fusion GPS, which the DNC and the Hillary campaign then funded, allegedly for that purpose.

Despite the alleged Russian connections detailed by the Steele Dossier, including Russia supposedly having dirt on Trump, the Mueller report found that Trump’s team did not work or cooperate with Russia to win the elections.

Nevertheless, Brennan included the Steele Dossier in the Intelligence Community Assessment report – despite objections from FBI officials. When confronted by intelligence experts that demonstrated that the Steele Dossier did not meet the threshold, Brennan insisted that its inclusion was warranted.

“Brennan ultimately formalized his position in writing, stating that ‘my bottomline is that I believe that the information warrants inclusion in the report,’” the recently released ICA documents stated.

Additionally, Brennan had reportedly testified behind closed doors that he opposed the inclusion of the problematic Steele Dossier, suggesting that he lied under oath during the Congressional hearing.

The former intelligence chief also made public statements discrediting the Steele Dossier despite overriding career FBI officials and including it in the ICA, as the released documents state.

“I would have no interest in trying to give that dossier any additional airtime,” the Wall Street Journal quoted Brennan.

Meanwhile, former CIA officer Bryan Dean-Wright has called for the prosecution and conviction of Brennan for his role in pushing the Russia interference hoax.

“My former boss — CIA Director John Brennan — should rot in prison,” he posted on the social media platform X.

“As his former staff now admit, Brennan specifically pushed for the inclusion of the Steele Dossier in the IC Assessment (ICA) which found that Vladimir Putin ‘aspired’ to help Trump win the 2016 election.

“Also, we now know that Brennan demanded the Dossier be included in the ICA *DESPITE* explicit verbal and written warnings from his top operational AND analytical management that the Dossier ‘didn’t meet the most basic [of] tradecraft standards.’”

Unsurprisingly, Brennan was among the 51 intelligence chiefs who signed the document stating that the Hunter Biden Laptop story had the hallmarks of Russian disinformation.

Former CIA Director Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and former FBI Director James Comey briefed former President Barack Obama on the Russian Interference hoax. The investigation into his role in perpetuating Russiagate should extend beyond the Steele Dossier’s inclusion in the ICA.

  1. I’d wager Brennan and his “intelligence community” cohorts have squirreled away so much dirt on members of Congress that this will be little more than another exercise in TV sound bytes and strongly worded memos. Welcome to American, where evil always gets away with it.
