Report: Brennan’s Henchmen Still Entrenched at the CIA, Even Promoted After Authoring the Russian Hoax

Russia hoaxer and former CIA Director John Brennan still has hos henchmen working at the agency, a new report has found. CIA Director John Ratcliffe recently released documents detailing how Brennan included the highly disregarded Steele Dossier in the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) report linking President Trump to Russia, against the advice of career intelligence officers.

“Today’s report underscores that the 2016 IC Assessment was conducted through an atypical & corrupt process under the politically charged environments of former Dir. Brennan & former FBI Dir. Comey,” Ratcliffe said.

“All the world can now see the truth: Brennan, Clapper and Comey manipulated intelligence and silenced career professionals — all to get Trump,” he added. “Thank you to the career CIA officers who conducted this review and exposed the facts.”

That report has become the subject of an investigation targeting the former CIA Director and former FBI Director James Comey. Brennan may have specifically lied under oath during a closed-door congressional hearing, which was later corroborated by his public statements dismissing the Steele Dossier, which he conveniently included in the report, against the advice of career intelligence professionals.

However, Brennan may not have single-handedly authored the ICA report, and some of his stalwart supporters are still entrenched at the federal agency, making reforms difficult.

Sources told the conservative news website The Federalist that the CIA, in its current form, is “significantly worse and significantly more corrupt than conveyed in the memorandum released last week by CIA Director John Ratcliffe.”

Quoting internal sources familiar with the matter, the outlet also reported that “the CIA report pales in comparison to the real corruption at play.”

Sources at the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) branch, which authored the intelligence community assessment, “found the ICA significantly worse and significantly more corrupt than was conveyed in the CIA report,” and more details regarding the Russian hoax exist than were reported.

The outlet reported that some of Brennan’s collaborators who helped author the faulty report were even promoted. Efforts to clean up all federal agencies, including the CIA, have taken longer than most Americans expected, partly due to restraining orders issued by activist judges.

Given that Brennan’s alleged collaborators remain entrenched within the agency, the newly announced investigation may prove futile, as they are likely to suppress evidence for self-preservation and shield their former boss. Subsequently, cleaning the agency should have preceded the inquiry.

Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that the administration is investigating Comey and Brennan over the Russian hoax.

“I’m glad to hear it, because both of these disgraceful individuals turned against our Constitution and our country, and I’m sure they did, in fact, lie to Congress,” she said. “It’s up to the Department of Justice to investigate that and to prosecute them if they did.”

“What we have seen is corruption at the highest levels against President Trump. He prevailed, and the truth must come out,” she added.

“That’s what the president believes in and I’m glad to see the Department of Justice is opening up this investigation.”
