Report: Trump’s Secret Service Director Sean Curran Implicated in His Assassination Attempt?

A new report details the negligence of current Secret Service Director Sean Curran that nearly cost Trump his life at the Butler, Pennsylvania, rally. Curran appeared with Trump in the photo and reportedly shielded him from the assassin’s bullet that grazed his ear.

Ex-Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, who resigned after Trump retook the White House, shouldered most of the blame for failing to act to protect the then-Republican presidential candidate’s life.

However, the “cascade” of errors that resulted in the nearly tragic incident may implicate the current Director of the Secret Service, who served as the head of Trump’s security detail. Ironically, Director Curran had taken immediate steps to clean up his house and rid the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agency of incompetence.

According to conservative news website Real Clear Politics, the current Director and two other security officials, Nick Menster and Nick Olszweski, authorized flawed security plans that threatened Trump’s life.

“Who signed off on the Butler security plan the day before the Butler rally, even though there were discrepancies on how the AGR building roof would be covered in the plan?” Asked Real Clear Politics’ National Political Correspondent Susan Crabtree.

“Would you be surprised to learn it was: Sean Curran, the head of the Donald Trump campaign detail, along with a supervisor for the Butler rally on his same Donald Trump detail, Nick Menster, and an inspector who was acting in a supervisory role, Nick Olszweski, sources in the Secret Service community tell me.”

Shockingly, the trio got promoted following the botched assassination attempt, with Menster put in charge of Trump’s children, Lara and Eric Trump. Curran was responsible for promoting Menster and Olszweski, despite both being participants in the incredible incompetence.

A Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs report details the security failures that enabled the assailant to nearly end Trump’s life.

The failures include denying or leaving 10 security requests unfulfilled, including counter-drone systems, counter-assault teams, and counter-sniper measures. Recently, a top Iranian official said they could take out President Trump using a drone while he sunbathes on his Mar-a-Lago property, through a precision strike on his navel.

The Trump assassination attempt was widely attributed initially to Iran, which remains active in its goal of assassinating the President, with an even higher bounty following the obliteration of the Islamic nation’s nuclear facilities.

“Trump has done something that he can no longer sunbathe in Mar-a-Lago,” said senior Iran Supreme Leader’s adviser Javad Larijani. “As he lies there with his stomach to the sun, a small drone might hit him in the navel. It’s very simple.”

It remains unclear how many of those regrettable security decisions the current Director of the U.S. Secret Service approved. However, the extent of the alleged incompetence is unmistakable.

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AZ) acknowledged that “mistakes were made” on the fateful day.

However, Sen. Cotton claimed that the Biden administration was not responsive to Trump’s security detail, including Curran, potentially exonerating him from the failures of the Secret Service.

“I think President Trump is right as well that mistakes were made that day,” Cotton said. “The report from the GAO as well as the Senate reports indicate that there were serious failures in communications and allocation of resources.

“Under the Biden administration, the Secret Service simply was not responsive to the requests of not only the Trump campaign, but the head of his security detail Sean Curran, who is now the head of the Secret Service as well.”
