Far left ABC’s “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin is reeling from regret for tanking Kamala Harris’s campaign after asking a simple, commonsense question that any candidate should easily answer. Hostin expressed her regrets while appearing on “Behind the Table” podcast.
The far-left political commentator had asked the former Vice President what she would do differently if she won the presidential election. “There is not a thing that comes to mind … I’ve been a part of most of the decisions that have had impact,” Kamala answered after freezing for a moment like a deer in headlights.
“It’s Sunny’s fault she [Kamala] didn’t win,” Joy Behar jokingly accused Hostin, triggering an emotional reaction. “We can’t ignore the fact that you may have single-handedly taken down the Democratic Party, some would say Democracy itself,” said Brian Teta. “I knew it instantly when she answered it,” Hostin told Teta, who asked if that was the case. “Which is why I asked the follow-up question, ‘is there ONE thing?’ Because I knew, I could see the soundbite and I knew what was going to happen, but I thought it was a really fair question and I thought it was a question that she would expect.”
“It wasn’t a gotcha question by any means,” Teta said.
Media hack Jake Tapper has reportedly included the moment in his co-authored grift, “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again.” Unhinged Democratic Party political strategist James Carville also attributed Kamala’s defeat to Hostin’s question. “When we go back and history unearths this, it’s going to be right there on the View. Sunny Hostin, Houston, whatever, asked the question. That’s the most devastating answer you can imagine,” he said.
Hostin said she feels terrible for asking the question. Even more terrible was that Kamala could not provide a direct answer and needed follow-up questions to minimize the damage. Hostin went into details explaining the predetermined answers that she expected from Kamala, confirming that she was biased and wanted her to win so badly. Ironically, the same left-wing media journalists always confront Trump with trick questions to get a gotcha moment.
Instead of wallowing in regret, Hostin should take pride in saving America from what was shaping up to be one of the worst presidencies in history. Nevertheless, Hostin takes too much credit for blowing up an already doomed presidential campaign. Even the panel agreed that the incident did not single-handedly change the outcome of the election, but only “played a role” in Kamala’s defeat.
Meanwhile, the incident exposed Hostin’s hypocrisy, as she had accused CNN of allowing Trump to spew “unchallenged lies,” while she regrets asking an ordinary question. “I don’t think that she [CNN host Kaitlin Collins] was prepared. I don’t think he should have been given a platform. I was wondering when he was going to be fact-checked in real time,” she said. Fortunately, Kamala did not need real-time fact-checking, as she effectively discredited herself even with softball questions, like Hostin’s.

Her mistake was not feeding the Kam all of the questions in advance, then coaching her on marketable answers.
The question should never be the problem! VP Harris could have answered it any way she wanted to. The fault is not in the asking but in how she answered. it.
The Lady Doth Protest Too Much Methinks
Sunny is quite possibly the biggest idiot of all time. After Joe of course.
When Harris has an unscripted press conference or interview, she repeated what happened to Biden in the CNN debate. The video showed her being an ineffective, vacuous giggler that flip/flops more than Flippy the hamburger flipping robot. She either outright lies that can be confirmed with a 30 second internet search or puts out a word salad that dodges the question with no answer. In the View interview she gave a honest that showed her true beliefs. As we see her lack of political positions it is likely she is a chameleon that will take on any color, ethnicity, or political position depending on the audience or political need. It is like the old story “The Emperor’s New Clothes”. No one can unsee her being a Cacklin’ idiot spewing out a word salad and forget that it happened.
